Usage

Step 2.5: Exfoliate Night

After cleansing, apply a small amount of toner to a cotton pad and gently sweep over the face and neck. Do not rinse.

This product exfoliates and tones the skin in one step.

Important information

Beginner:
Start slowly with glycolic acid (AHA) and use it 1 to 3 times per week in the evening. This gives your skin time to adjust and helps prevent irritation or over-exfoliation.

Advanced:
Is your skin responding well after 3 to 4 weeks? Then gradually increase usage to 3 to 5 times per week.

On the other days, use gentle, hydrating products to support your skin.

Never use multiple AHA products on the same day. Avoid combining AHA with other active ingredients such as BHAs, retinol, or vitamin C in the same routine. Instead, alternate these on different days to avoid overloading the skin.

AHA increases sun sensitivity, so apply a SPF 30 or higher daily, even on cloudy days.

If you experience redness or irritation:
Reduce frequency or pause use and opt for calming skincare.

When not to use

When to Avoid Using Glycolic Acid:

  • If you have sensitive or easily irritated skin
  • If you suffer from rosacea, eczema, or couperose
  • If you have active skin damage such as wounds or sunburn
  • If your skin barrier is compromised or weakened
  • If you are hypersensitive to AHAs or other acids
  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding (especially with high concentrations – consult your doctor)
  • During or shortly after intensive treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling
  • When using other exfoliants such as retinol, BHA, or vitamin C
  • When exposed to intense sunlight without daily SPF protection
  • During or shortly after a course of Roaccutane (isotretinoin)
  • For children or teenagers under 16 years old

Can I use the AHA Toner every day?

⚠️On days when you use AHA, choose either the AHA Toner or the AHA Lotion Exfoliant, but never both. Also avoid using other active ingredients such as BHA, retinol, or vitamin C that day to prevent overloading your skin.

1. Reinigen

Start je routine altijd met een schone huid. Gebruik een cleanser zoals de Skin cleanser met tea tree olie om vuil, overtollig talg en make-up te verwijderen.

⚠️ Gebruik op dagen dat je AHA-producten gebruikt geen BHA Cleanser.

2. Herstellen

Gebruik na het reinigen de Soothing Rose Toner voor een kalmerend en hydraterend effect. Enkele keren per week kun je kiezen voor de AHA Toner. Dit is een combinatie van toner én exfoliant in één product.

Een toner herstelt de pH-waarde van je huid en verwijdert de laatste restjes vuil. De AHA Toner doet dat ook, maar exfolieert daarnaast ook het huidoppervlak op milde wijze voor een gladdere, egalere huid.

2.5. Exfoliëren

De AHA Lotion Exfoliant verwijdert dode huidcellen, stimuleert celvernieuwing en verfijnt de huidtextuur. Breng aan met een wattenschijfje of direct met schone handen op een droge huid.

3. Behandelen
